How can I track my order?

Once your order has been dispatched you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking. If your order includes a preorder item, you will receive a shipping confirmation for all items when the preorder item arrives as we do not split-ship.

What carriers do you use?

For domestic shipping, we use Australia Post's carbon neutral delivery with parcel post and express post. For international orders, your parcel may be sent with Australia Post, DHL Ecommerce or Toll.

How long will it take to receive my order?

We dispatch orders from Melbourne within 1-3 business days of orders being placed. Please check your tracking for the most accurate delivery estimate to your area from Australia Post. Some delivery delays through all carriers are to be expected currently due to covid-19 impacts. Please contact us if you need any assistance with your parcel's tracking.

When will I receive my preorder items?

Items available for preorder will specify the anticipated delivery date on the individual product page description. Any orders that have a combination of in-stock items alongside preorder items will be held to ship together at the time of preorders arriving. If you would like to purchase something on preorder as well as something to receive now, we recommend placing two separate orders so that items in-stock will be fulfilled and dispatched to you immediately, and the preorder item will be sent at its later arrival date.

What if my order does not arrive or is damaged?

Please email customerservice@foile.com.au with your name and order number and we will be happy to assist you.

What payment methods does Foile accept? 

Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, Afterpay, Apple Pay and Shop Pay.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently ship to Australia, New Zealand and USA.

What will my order arrive in? 

In order to have the lowest environmental impact we endeavour to use as little unnecessary packaging to send out your orders. Orders will arrive in a plain cardboard box which can be recycled.

Do you offer refunds or exchanges?

We do not offer refunds or exchanges unless the item is deemed faulty. Refunds on faulty products must be within 14 days.



Are Foile products tested on animals?

No. All Foile Classics and Foile Formulas are cruelty free, vegan and not tested on animals.

Where are Foile products made?

Our Foile Formulas are developed and manufactured in Melbourne, Australia. Our Foile classics are filled in Australia with ingredients harvested from around the world. To find the origin of a specific classic select the product and view origin.

Are Foile products ok to use if I have an allergy?

A number of products contain natural plant, marine and mineral ingredients, always check our product ingredients lists to ensure that it is free of all ingredients that may aggravate your skin. If unsure or new to Foile Skincare we always recommend a patch test before use.

Do any of your products contain nuts?

A number of our products do contain nut oils. Always read ingredient lists carefully and we recommend patch testing products before use.

Are Foile products recyclable?

All our products and packaging are commercially recyclable with the exception of the serum pump for our cleanser and moisturiser. We recommend disposing of these at your local TerraCycle drop off point.

Do Foile products contain preservatives or parabens?

Our products are 100% free from parabens and sulphates. Our Foile Formulas contain natural preservatives which are necessary for stabilising and protecting against the growth of bacteria. Learn more about our ingredients here.

What is the shelf life of Foile products

Unopened products have a shelf life of up to 24 months. Once opened, we recommend using the product within 3 months. Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and below 30 degrees. Ensure the lid is tightly closed after using.


What is the best body oil for your skin?

Our coconut oil is the best oil for your body. It's unscented, super-lightweight and absorbs straight into the skin leaving your skin hydrated and not too oily.

What is the best oil for your face?

Hemp oil if your skin is prone to redness, dermatitis or feeling extra dry. Jojoba oil if your skin is on the more oily side or suffers from breakouts. Marula oil if your skin is needing extra hydration and protection.

Can I use Foile products if I have sensitive skin?

All Foile products are suitable for sensitive skin. For extra sensitive skin we recommend either our marula, hemp or jojoba classics. Our Foile Formulas are free from harsh ingredients that may be irritating to sensitive skin however with any new product we always recommend patch test 24 hours prior to full use.

Do you put a face oil on before or after a moisturiser / serum?

A face oil should be applied after you apply a serum or moisturiser. Serums and moisturisers tend to be the thinnest and deliver the active ingredients straight into the skin. An oil can penetrate serums and moisturisers.

Is it good to apply oil on your face at night?

Face oils can be applied morning and night. If applying face oil in the morning apply after SPF and before make-up. If applying a face oil at night apply directly after cleansing or after your serum / moisturiser.

Will face oil clog my pores?

Face oils will not clog your pores unless comedogenic such as coconut, palm, soybean or flax. Non-comedogenic oils such as hemp seed, jojoba and marula which do not clog your pores.  

What is marula oil?

Marula oil is loaded with antioxidants including vitamin C and vitamin E. The fatty acids help act as an emollient to help hydrate your skin leaving it feeling smooth. Marula oil is also rich is oleic and linoleic fatty acids which give the oil a rich and lush consistency.

What is jojoba oil?

Jojoba Oil is a wax ester produced from the Simmondsia chinensis (jojoba) plant which shares the same molecular structure to our own skin’s sebum making this a great oil for nourishing and restoring balance to the skin. Packed full of vitamins A, E and D, as well as antioxidants and essential fatty acids. Jojoba is also naturally antibacterial and anti-inflammatory, helping to calm the skin.

What is Hemp oil?

Hemp Seed Oil has high levels of omega fatty acids 3, 6 and 9, vitamin E and amino acids. These extremely soothing ingredients help in the natural repair of the skin’s barrier, making the skin better at retaining moisture. Hemp Seed Oil is also an emollient, meaning your skin will stay beautifully hydrated and plump.
